- You are ready for this! Take deep breaths and remain calm.
- You will have 35 minutes for Reading and 35 minutes for Listening.
- A brief break is allowed between Reading and Listening.
- Reading and Listening can be taken on different days.

- If there is an issue with the assessment or you need help with something, raise your hand or go to the counter and ask the Testing employee for assistance.
- Read each question carefully.
- Don’t leave any items blank - take your best guess; trust your gut.
- Don’t spend too much time on one question. You can Flag difficult questions and return to them at the end if you have time.
- Don’t use the Pause button - it is for students with accommodations (for more information talk to your coach).
- Don’t click Exit until you are done with the very last question and ready to finish.
- Thank you for completing your progress check! You’ve got this!
- Check in with the Testing employee before leaving to ensure testing is completed.
- If your class has not ended yet, please return to your classroom.
- Ask for a copy of your scores from your teacher. It usually takes 2-3 days for them to be available. Meet with the teacher or success coach to go over your scores once they are available. Teachers use your results to create an individualized learning plan that targets your strengths and your areas of improvement.
