Rio Salado College offers scholarship and grant funding to support Adult Education students pursuing stackable credentials and careers in high-demand industries. Program staff help students evaluate their eligibility for scholarships and grants and navigate the college admission and enrollment process. For information on scholarships and assistance navigating college financial aid, college admission, and the enrollment process, please contact Adult Education staff at the locations.

Students seeking to register for adult education classes at Rio Salado College must meet state eligibility requirements as defined by the Arizona Department of Education under A.R.S. § 15-232(B), which states that “The Department of Education shall provide classes under this section only to adults who are citizens or legal residents of the United States or are otherwise lawfully present in the United States. This subsection shall be enforced without regard to race, religion, gender, ethnicity or national origin.” Prospective students will certify eligibility and lawful presence by signing a self-declaration statement during the registration process. For identification purposes, prospective students will be asked to present a valid government issued identification that contains a recognizable photo. Students who wish to participate in credit career training will also need to present identification for in-state residency.
